Privacy Policy: Tavira Painting Co.

1. Who we are

This website belongs to Tavira Painters – Painting Services (Tavira Painting Co.), a painting and damp repair business based in Tavira and part of the Tavira Services network. Address: Rua Álvaro de Campos 53, 1E, 8800-320 Tavira, Portugal. For anything about your personal data, write to painters@taviraservices.pt.

2. What we collect

Only what we need to quote and carry out painting work:

  • Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
  • The address of the property and how we get access to it, for example the manager or neighbour who holds the key.
  • Photos, videos, voice messages and descriptions of the walls, ceilings, woodwork or damp you want us to look at.
  • Your NIF, which Portuguese law requires on every invoice.

3. What we use it for

To answer your request, give you a first estimate, arrange the visit to the property, prepare the written quote, carry out the work, send you the photo report and issue the invoice. We do not use your details for advertising and we never sell them.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to take the steps you ask for before a contract (estimate, visit and quote), to perform the contract once you accept the quote, and to meet our legal obligations, such as invoicing and keeping accounting records.

5. Who sees your data

The painters and coordinators who handle your job, our accountant, and the Portuguese tax authority where the law requires it. Messages sent through the website form reach us by email. Conversations on WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Invoices and the details on them are kept for the period required by Portuguese tax law.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to limit how we use it, or to object to its use, by writing to painters@taviraservices.pt. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

8. Cookies

The website uses cookies to work properly and, with your consent, to measure visits. You can accept or refuse them in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time.
