We usually reply with a first estimate within 24 hours, often the same day if you send photos. The fixed written quote follows a visit to the property, which we book as soon as we can.

The most helpful things are: photos of the rooms or exterior, approximate dimensions (or room sizes), your address, and when you’d like the work done. For exteriors, photos of the facade from different angles help us assess the condition.

Our quotes are fixed once we’ve seen the work area. If we discover unexpected issues (e.g., hidden damp behind a wall), we stop and contact you with a revised price before continuing. You never get a surprise on the final invoice.

For small jobs you can also book us by the hour instead, at an hourly rate agreed in advance. On hourly work, a daily travel charge is added if the property is far from Tavira centre.

The visit has a travel charge, which we tell you before we come. If you accept the quote, it is included in the job price. We visit every property because the prices on our website are averages, and a correct quote means seeing the walls.

Yes, we work in both English and Portuguese. Our written quotes are in English by default, but we can provide them in Portuguese on request. Just let us know your preference.
