Towns and villages we cover
We’re based in Tavira and travel across the eastern Algarve. Every quote starts with a visit to the property. That visit has a travel charge, which depends on distance and is included in the job price if you go ahead.
How travel works: we tell you the travel charge for the visit before we come. If you accept the quote, it is already included in the price of the job. Booking us by the hour instead? Then a daily travel charge applies when the property is far from Tavira centre.
Why local knowledge matters for painting in the East Algarve
Salt air is not the same everywhere. A villa in Cabanas, 200 metres from the Ria Formosa, needs a different primer than a quinta in Moncarapacho, five kilometres inland. We know which products work where.
Sun exposure varies. South-facing facades in Luz de Tavira get three times the UV of north-facing walls in Conceição. We adjust our product recommendations accordingly.
Property types are different. A historic townhouse in Tavira’s centre needs breathable lime-based materials. A beachfront apartment in Cabanas needs anti-salt protection. A resort in Vila Nova de Cacela needs fast turnaround between bookings.
We’ve worked in all these towns. We know the local suppliers, the typical construction methods, and the common problems in each area. That knowledge saves you time and money.

Yes, in Olhão and around it. As anywhere else, we visit before quoting, and the travel charge for that visit is included in the job price if you go ahead.
Yes, including the countryside around it. Inland quintas often have long walls and outbuildings, so the visit matters even more here. We tell you the travel charge in advance, and it is included in the price if the job goes ahead.
We work in Vila Nova de Cacela, Manta Rota, Altura and Monte Gordo. We do not currently work across the border in Spain, but we can recommend trusted partners if needed.
We charge for travel to the property, because every quote is done on site: the prices on this website are averages, and walls only show their real condition in person. If you go ahead with the job, that travel charge is included in the final price, so you never pay it twice.
Hourly work is the exception. When you book us by the hour and the property is far from Tavira centre, we add a daily travel charge for each day on site, agreed before we start.
Yes, we work throughout the historic centre. We’re familiar with the specific requirements for lime-based materials, breathable paints, and the local planning rules. We can advise on colour choices that are appropriate for the area.
